Cell on 29th August.

Hello!

We had cell today! It was kinda messy, but it went through. :)

I was in the sick bay, because I felt unwell. Yea. So I was sleeping like a pig. From some time after 11.15am. Then I heard the lunch bells: the starting one, the 5-minutes-left one, and the ending one. I was supposed to wake up after lunch, but I thought, a few minutes more would be fine, then I ended up sleeping til 2:45pm? Yea so I went to class, packed everything, realised the class was empty, wanted to go M302 upstairs, realised was hungry, dropped everything (except the guitar) (guitars are precious), and went down to buy some stuff. The Auntie was taking such a long time!!!! Anyway, so I went up to class, grabbed everything again, realised had no more hands, so had to put water bottle in the side pockets of my Deuter, the toot way, was quite embarassed, decided there was no time to be embarassed and headed up again to M302 with food in one hand, guitar in the other. Stood outside music rooms at 3rd level, didn't knwo which one, saw the first one locked, saw a lot of people with stacks of chairs outside the other, didn't know what to do, threw everythign down again except the guitar, sat down, i guess i sort of prayed in my heart unknowingly, smsed cherie, followed her instructions, realised M302 was the second music room, went in without stuff, got screamed at for wearing shoes inside, left phone on piano(i don't know why), went out again, got screamed at again, took stuff, went in, sat down on piano bench, sighed, started panicking again because haven't decided the 3 songs.

Anyway, Cherie already had prepared 3 songs:

Amazing Grace,

How Great Is Our God,

Lift Your Name Up.

Thank you Jesus for Cherie's foresight.

The sad thing happened here, Jiemin had to go, like before everything started. So basically she just waited with Mad and Cherie for me and saw me tumbling in and had to go. :\ Oopsies.

And thank you Jesus they weren't mad at me, I don't know if they were, but they said twas okay and smiled. I love smiles. :) Then we realised the guitar was seriously out of tune, tried to tune it with piano, didn't know where to tighten or losen, both was totally insensible, so decided to play chords on piano anyway.

So we sang Amazing Grace and How Great Is Our God. Lift Your Name Up was too rocky and Mad and I didn't know it and the speakers weren't working even after we tried for so long and Cherie got frustrated and I got birdshit like stuff on my hand.

But the worship was good, the lyrics were so true. Realised that even with so much stuff happening in our lives, in school, in cell, in our private lives, maybe our relationship with God even, we must say, God is good (How great is our god), and thank Him for His blessings. Even though there doesn't seem to be any. But you get the point. :)

So today's lesson was the 2nd lesson of 7 lessons of the series. Which is the 7 things Jesus said before he died on the cross. Today's one was Luke 23:43, what Jesus said to the repentant guy on His right, "Today, you will be in Paradise with me."

Basically, it was about the 2 criminals on Jesus' sides on the cross. The first criminal challenged Jesus, saying if he was really the Messiah, to prove it and save Himself and both of them. The second criminal scolded him and said both of them were there because they committed crimes, but Jesus had done nothing.

So we were talking about the first criminal and not understanding him because Jesus was right beside him and he didn't believe in Him, also Jesus had done so many miracles, surely he had heard or witnessed one of them?

But then we realised that God has done so many wonderful things and miracles in our lives too, but sometimes we start scolding God and blaming Him for putting us in the bad situation at the time, sometimes even doubting His existence. We were all sharing and Mad shared that her pastor preached that whenever you have doubt, seek answers, and then you will realise that doubt actually brings you closer to God. So that was like my sister's post on my Net blog, www.thecrazynet.blogspot.com, with the picture and all. So I drew it on the paper box which once held my lunch. Yea. So you can go visit it and see the real thing. So we learnt that when we're at our lowest point, we must remember that with each Low, the Highs that come after each Low will keep on going higher and higher. Which actually reminded me about what my father said before my piano exam, he said it's in the hard times that you learn your life's greatest lessons. Not really relevant. Nvm.

So yea.

Cell today was awesome.

Learnt a lot, really related to it.

God rulez,

SHERYL :3)
