Hey! I am back. There is definitely a 'end of holidays' gloom in the air. Even if you don't feel it, I do! LOL. I must say that I had introduced myself to many challenges this holidays. First, I started chatting on http://uk.chat.yahoo.com. I must say that I have been a chatter there for 4 months and I don't regret doing so. I had indeed learnt many new and interesting things from the chatroom.Of course, some of you out there would be thinking that I had learnt some 'dirty' things and my mind is now very polluted.But actually, I am not polluted and will never be. All you have to do when you meet kerks or perverts in chatrooms is to block them. In any case, this yahoo chatroom had prepared some ignoring slots on your menu. You can actually prevent anyone poeple on the chat to see tht you are online. In fact, it is no different from the block part on msn messenger or the invisble setting on yahoo messenger.Other than these precautions set up but yahoo, you have to exert some self control while on chat. There are really many perverts and jerks on chat, and with your determination and self-control, you can keep yourself safe.These are the several precautions I drawn for myself to prevent myself from being dirty minded and think of BGR as a fantasy.-NEVER divulge your real name (you can set up your own nickname, but this is one time, and you can't change it every now and then)-NEVER divulge your birthday (though some people might ask about it. NEVER EVER tell them what's it. You never know whatever harm they can bring to you.)-Use your nickname ALWAYS as for me, it is meadowsdreams or plutonearth or sherrie.-You may give your email address only when you sense that HE OR SHE IS SAFE. (Of course, that's what you think about them.)Well, that's really that's it. And I don't mind telling you that I have made several good friends on chat. Like, Sheikea from USA, Jessica from Malta, John, also from USA, Michael from Saudi Arabia, Tammy from Taiwan, Paul also from Taiwan and a few others from United Kingdom itself.Being in a chatroom, chatting with many teens or even full-grown adults can help you grow, towards the right or bad. And for me, I think it is towards to right.Adults usually vex themselves when a relationship is broken, I sometimes use a kid's perspective to make them see what's really the importance and make them laugh.And, you can actually learn alot about subjects that are related to you if you chat with universty students. Like once, I taught a turkish english and he taught me maths. When I used to use e-learnign portal, I sometimes encounter problems and I can just consult the university student and I will usually get an instant answer, especially your dad or mum or sis has not tackled such questions before, it is always good to have a university student helping you strengthen your weak subjects.You also get to learn some life skills and learn cultures about other countries. It is always fun to exchange your countries' tourism informatio with those who are from faraway countries. I have also made 2 fellow 12 year olds. From Malta and Texas. I can say that they helped me alot when I am tackling online problems. Of course, you must gain something while chatting with people from all over the world. It is also good to learn some basic Arabic and and French and German. Sometimes, you might even meet some school teachers online. They will help you improve your english. I think I have shared enough of my holiday, I will continue tomorrow. It's 2.04am here, actually...
